Remember that hunger for you right now is mostly mental. If you are anything like most of us, you have not gone more than a few hours without chewing on something delicious. Either eating to a clock; breakfast time, lunch time, dinner time and time for a coffee break. The human body can last a very long time without food. Longer than most would believe. However this doesn't help you, because right now you are "hungry". So here are a few things you can do to try to curb that hunger and not crack. The first few days are the worst, then after you get over that it becomes easier. That itself tells you something, the longer you go the less hungry you get? Weird right....you are not hungry. You are addicted to eating and right now you are bored!

Riding the Waves
Hunger does not build over days, it strikes in waves. Get through the waves and you will be fine. Go out and do something you like to do, take your mind off the fact you have nothing to eat. Go for a walk, meet a friend for tea (no biscuits!) get stuck into that project you have been putting off. 

How long can you go? 
It is generally agreed amongst the medical community that the average human can go 8 weeks without food as long as they have water. On a Reboot juice cleanse you have approx 1200 calories per day. It is not uncommon for people to do water fasts of up to 40+ days, so really you are fine.

Chia seed with water will help fill you up quick. Drop one shake (1 tea spoon) into a bottle of water or juice. Chia can also go into a glass of nut milk. Just make sure to give the seeds 10 minutes to swell up. Chia seeds are packed with omega 3 fats which are great for satisfying hunger pangs on a cleanse.
 
Nut milk and sea salt. Pour 1/3 or 1/2 of your nut milk into a glass. Add a pinch of sea salt, and then proceed to “chew” your juice, slowly sipping and munching as you go.
 
Cold-pressed freeze. Pour your favorite juice into a small plastic container. Cover and freeze. Use a spoon, and attack! Its not ideal for raw cold-pressed juice, but we know what it’s like on a long cleanse when you’re missing the textures of food. Sometimes you just want to chew something!
 
Chewing ice--don’t judge until you try it. Can help get you through those long hours at home... just you and your juice.
